In the wake of this country's latest crisis, Rupert was moved to pen tribute to the situation, reflecting the heartfelt tragedy of the floods followed by the inspirational response from Australians everywhere

Rupert Writes For Hogsbreath

Rupert was accepted into the Hogsbreath family after penning tribute to the company at their recent conference on Hamilton Island. His poem ‘The Hogspitality Reality’ was well received by passionate franchisee owners from Australia and New Zealand alike.

A Firefighter's Dream

Rupert was honoured with the request of paying tribute to the 343 fire-fighters who lost their lives when terrorists bought down the twin towers of the World Trade Centre in New York on September 11th 2001.

His poem 'A Firefighter's Dream' was delivered at a ceremony in Battery Park when a team of Australian and US firefighters arrived there on 9th Anniversary of 9/11, having completed a 30 day run from LA to NY. He then recited it for the New York Fire Department at their Ground Zero memorial at dusk.

Rupert Pays Tribute to Cup 150

Rupert was commissioned by the VRC to pay poetical tribute to the historic 150th running of the Melbourne Cup in 2010. His poem 'The Cup' will appear in a new anthology he plans to publish in 2011
